[Suggestion] Destroying building pieces needs more feedback

Currently you can destroy a building piece by looking at it and pressing Y. It is instantly destroyed. At least you get the piece back whole, so you can easily replace it, but it feels like there should be more feedback, even just an indication of which piece you’ll be destroying.

Suggestion: only allow destroying when you have the hammer equipped. Highlight the building piece, and show an on-screen prompt to “destroy by holding Y”, and force you to hold Y for a second rather than just press it once.

WHAAAAT? I didn't even know you could remove building pieces in this way. The first thing I tried was the hammer but there were no options given in the UI. I also scoured the Keyboard Layout in Settings and didn't find anything. I was destroying misplaced wall pieces with an axe!

Upvote: Add the Y option while Hammer is equipped and show something in the UI that indicates that Y will extract/destroy the piece.

So many pieces laboriously destroyed by Axe last night... Wish I knew then, what I know now. Yes, Please make this option more obvious.

A notification would be nice, if destroying a piece would affect other items, such as floor pieces affecting chests and stations.

I used my axe too to destroy something. When i google for it i found a video that shows the possiblities with y to destroy, R for variants etc. That should be shown the whole time when you are building!
