[Suggestion] Remove need to repair in order to destroy
Having to repair a building piece before destroying seems pointless (and annoying if you haven't learned the repair hammer yet). This would obviously be made worse if repair costs were introduced.

MyFriendKenI agree with this complaint... If a player simply wants to destroy an object that they otherwise didn't want to use the Upgrade Hammer to replace, it shouldn't be a requirement to Repair what you are about to demolish.

R.K.S.if you destroy it after repair you shouldn't get the materials back, If you dismantle the wall, floor or what ever part you want to remove then yes get the materials back,
So to skip repair and destroy makes sense. But if you repair the option should be dismantle. -

MercyIf you really want to destroy (not keep materials or the wall for future use) then repairing before using Y doesn't make sense. But if you plan to reuse that object then repairing before using Y seems a normal practice. Perhaps a distinction needs to be made between destroying a piece or removing a piece.

RaffexI like this and maybe you could just get a small return on the raw materials back (based on the percentage damage the item has already taken). I also think a "dismantle" option when you have the item fully repaired and in your inventory.
