[Suggestion] Start with ability to make a bed roll without hunting
I believe we should start with some basic supplies or at least a bed roll that does not require hunting animals to complete. Perhaps a wooden bed and fiber filling to start with. Not everyone that plays this sort of game is a great hunter.

cmicrocCompletely agree.
Created a new Solo character for BW3, and played occassionaly between co-op sessions.
Reached Level 5, and had killed dozens of Deer/Goats/Racoon, but still only ever got to 19 Fur in total.
Hence impossible to ever craft a sleeping bag to pass the darkness.
There needs to be some way for a starting character to pass the night.
Some trivial floor mat that gives no buff would be best. -

BonnieLoved the idea of getting down to the planet in an easy area, but what good are racoons if you don't get any fur from them? They are covered in fur so it makes sense that they would offer at least ONE piece of it.
Furthermore, 20 fur to start a bedroll is simply unacceptable, especially when you're a level 1 and haven't even established a game plan. Needing 20 fur to start your first bed isn't likely to happen for most new players.
Suggestion: Tone down the amount of fur/leather necessary to make a bedroll or give people an option to craft a thatch bed that can easily be constructed using plant fibers so they don't have to spend their nights twiddling their thumbs. Nobody from a YT channel wants to watch you scurry around in the darkness! LOL -

Frigusthe most basic floor mat could easily be made from fiber and maybe some sticks?
let that work as a bedroll without the buff.
