[Suggestion] Bait for predators

Taking care of wolves requires some practice. Taking care of bears require a lake (water is your friend!). But when we explore a cave with lots of goodies and we came out of it... there is a bear waiting to "collect a tax".
There should be some sort of way to drop some meat that the predators could eat so we could run the hell out of there because (let's face it) NO ONE can out run a bear!

Related to this (https://icarus.featureupvote.com/suggestions/213887/wildlife-attracted-to-appropriate-food-items). How are these not more upvoted? Animals should react to the proximity of their preferred needs (foods and water), unless they aren’t at all hungry.

I thought this was happening in Beta. If it was, it seems to work less well in 1.0.
