[Suggestion] Bridges required to access certain map areas
Maybe already planned? Wish list item for me: Some advanced areas of map in full game could require building a bridge. Gameplay reward for players who like to build rewarding them with accessing an area of the map otherwise tough to get to.
Would be a nice to have feature.
As a player who likes to build, I need an area of the map that I can only access that has rewards (exotics?) after building a structure so that I can contribute my play style to team goals.
Or some story like that.
I've seen some beta screenshots of people simply "walking" up a cliff side with ramp pieces, so may need to address ease of accessing unintended areas of the map with this kind of gameplay.

Dustin BI really like this idea as well.
In BW3, I found a few Ice Caves that are designed in such a way that they could not really be explored without bringing deployable ramps with you, which is cool (expect when I slip and fall into what looks like a bottomless pit, until my broken corpse finds the bottom after all).
Unfortunately, I don't think the building support system that's in the game right now would support building out over a gap. Seems like if you build too far over a gap without support from below, your pieces will just break. And when the gap is a deadly ravine, there's not a good way to provide support from below... can't even get down there to place 400 wood pillars without falling to your death.
