[Suggestion] Building should have build states/ tool suggestion
When building any item, the item itself is fully placed/assembled immediately.
Maybe a raw state + building materials combined with the building hammer, could be more interesting than just placing the block down.
To be able to build some blocks you should also have equipment. You can expand the build hammer with e.g. screwdrivers, wrenches, hydraulic rams, pulleys, prescision tools, verniers, ... that you need to have in order to be able to build something/some tech.
(weight/mass, block dimensions, complexity, ..)
In that way you can evolve from a caveman, to a highly skilled prospector using skills, tools, brains, the environment and luck.
Now, it feels more like the a caveman can build anything anywhere, using only the wooden build hammer.
sidenote: With the weight you can also play, using different gravity models.
(earthlike planet -> 1G, astreroid = very low G, Alien/humongus planets can have more G's for example)

TechnoguruI just figured that having needed too many tools is could also be somewhat of an inventory space loss..
Maybe some could be perks/talents/skills.
Or maybe a tool belt slot, where all your crafted tools are automatically stored. In that way you can have 'all the things' in one slot.
Also, you can build up to 3 high standing from the ground? This should be 'ladder required'.
For the gravitational forces, I imagined it like this:
Earthlike (1G)
- normal placing as we are now seeing it
- when building stone walls/ heavy stuff -> pulley needed
- tech/computers -> prescision tools/basic electronics
and so on
Low G
-> movement speed lower, but jumps are higher etc.. (go see some NASA footage XD)
-> stone wall -> slower building (movement) but no pulley required
etc..
High G
-> movement speed MUCH slower (exoskeleton suit for buffs?)
-> stone walls -> hydraulic rams
In that way, going out of the known physical environment, the world gets way harder when its not an earthlike planet.
