Crimson Sword MergedI don't understand for the life of me why the devs have chosen to make both glass windows fixed and why there is an option for a glass window wall with no opening window. If you want it fixed you'd build a glass wall.

KrisI have to agree. What is the point of a glass wall buildable with a space for a *fixed* glass window (that can't be opened). The glass wall buildable with centre space for a window is simply obsolete as it stands currently.

john hancock MergedSee through glass oir at least adding in that option. you have created this unreal and sureal landscape then glass to enjoy it from your base but then made it so it opaque and you cannot see though it. It would add so much moire to the game having it see through. I have a similar thing in subsistence and I can tell you it is unreal. It seems a huge waste not having it in sucha fantastic environment especially would be soo good at night

brazil70 MergedMake the tempered glass actually clear so we can see out. Building a base say overlooking a waterfall would be SOOO much nicer if we could put up tempered glass to avoid storm damage and actually be able to look out and see the beautiful landscape :)

J PPretty sure this will make my PC 'chug' but I'll gladly take the hit to allow me to enjoy the beautiful panorama I built my base here specifically to enjoy - YES! Please make glass/toughened glass more transparent so we can drink in the gorgeous scenery you Devs worked so hard to bring us

Skalleperra MergedI like building big window walls to capture the view from within a building. But right now, the glass is just not clear enough to enjoy the views. Either fix the current glass or add a new tier of glass of higher quality.

Darena BryantReading this has me laughing a bit. Glass isn't clear in the game, and glass windows that you can't see through aren't transparent? Doesn't this defeat the entire purpose of glass? Imagine if they applied this to like... the lantern. It has glass in it, but the glass doesn't allow light through, so the lantern doesn't illuminate anything. xD

Sabre070 - Designer AdminThis is something we've discussed internally a lot, would like to do it personally but would basically require having two different types of glass. Not planned currently, but not saying it'll never happen.
