[Bug] Skinning with the skinning bench does not give the same xp as skinning with the knife

  Only gives 1 exp when skinning animals on the skinning Bench, while harvesting with a knife gives 500 exp. Not worth the skinning bench if it doesn't give more than the knife.

  While you do get extra resources. it's not worth it due to xp loss and having to use 1 bp point to unlock bench and 1-6 to be able to use it with all animals. It should give the same or a little more xp than skinning in the field, and be to skin some animals. maybe spend a point to be able to do larger animals. How come I can skin it in the field, but have to learn how to do it on the table. It's a one off to spend a point to build the table and not be able to use it without using more points.

  I honestly missed the lower exp. Personally I didn't need the 'extra' materials that I got from the bench. It probably really wasn't worth the time to drag back all the creatures, especially after having to spend points to unlock the bench AND the ability for each animal.

  Bench is currently worthless, Knife skinning needs to be HEAVILY nerfed if the bench is to have any use at all.

  I love the idea of the skinning bench. I love the resources that I get from hauling my kills home. I especially love the chance of prime meat from my kills (and look forward to sharing that with my buddies who are out mining iron and building our lodge).
  
  But I hate that after taking time to kill my deer/wolf, and haul it all the way back to our Yurt, that I only get paltry XP for using the bench to maximize our resource gain. Skinning the deer give about 300xp. Taking it to the skinning bench gives 60xp. I usually pick XP over resources... and so after only a few uses, I found myself picking up my skinning bench and breaking it down. At least I could get the wood and stone back, but it made me sad.

  Skinning with the bench gives less XP, but more materials. I kind of like that it's a trade off and you have to choose which you need more at the moment.

  Came here to post this, glad someone already did. In early game when you really need experience I feel like you are penalized for using the skinning bench. It gives more resources, but a fraction of the experience. At the very least I feel like the amount of xp gained should be the same as skinning in the field.

  When skinning with the bench you should be able to use to bonus of a skinning knife. To get this adding a slot where a crafted knife can be placed and the bench would take to bonus as the player would be skinning it. The point would be that you are taking the extra time on a table with the proper tools rather than in the field where you have to rush and ruin some of the leather, fur a bones and meat. You may also get a prime out of it if you are lucky enough out of the larger animals.

  Skinning with a knife needs to be nerfed, but a bench shouldn't cost anything but wood and sticks.
  By the time I craft one, I no longer need it and its just sits in the corner gathering fur, leather, and bones.
  
  The yeild from a skinning bench should make bringing back a carcass to the hunting camp feel worthwhile, and important.
  Currently it feels like I should have just stripped the carcass in the field and moved on.
