and/or mouse wheel up / down to adjust the amount which is taken from the stack

Yes pleaseeeee! I can't tell you enough how frustrating it is to have to split a stack a ton of times so that I can split a lower number like 2 or 3. What @Marcel said would be perfect with the mouse wheel scroll up/down to select the number you'd like to split from the stack.

All implemented except splitting by number.
But for this one issue there is already a bigger thread.
So I would say this one here is DONE.
