[Suggestion] Add Tier 3 Light Source - Headlamp
Would it be possible to add a portable (ideally wearable) light source at a higher tech tier.. Like a headtorch. I feel like by the time you are able to make Bio Fuel & Guns, you would have looked into a decent source of light. The ores require you to spend a LOT of time in the caves and the most effective light source is still the Tier 1 torch.. My apologies if this has been discussed already.

DiamondsThe lantern which was formally bad and seemingly hated by a lot of people because of dismal the light source was and the waste of resources and talent points to make it..... well that lantern now kicks a lot of ass. Like, a lot a lot. If you haven't tried it out, big time recommendation on that.

ZogTheHogI'm glad they buffed the lantern, but if you can make a Dehumidifier, Portable Beacon etc at Tier 3 then I think a headlamp is not to much to ask. I think its kind of ridiculous to have this crazy need for ores to make anything, and have the caves be SO dark, but you can only hold your lantern OR your tool at one time? Everyone is saying "Mining is two handed" well in the game its not, so I either think we need to be able to hold a torch in the left hand, or at least make the flashlight in Tier 4 a headlamp so it can just be on. (And make an auxiliary slot for it)

Small MergedHave a slot in your suit crafted in workshop to allow a helmet light, this could be a workshop item as well.

Nathan M. MergedAgain make tier four more desirable for players to achieve, please consider adding a headlight to the composite head gear. The player can make electronics and generators but can't make a simple headlight for his headgear? one small light to the left and right of the headgear would be awesome. Tier four should be the point where torches become obsolete. Add some electronics to its creation if you have to make it more realistic to create, but please consider. Thanks again for your suggestion.
P.S. if it is also is desirable can we add light trim to the suit with a low ambient lighting on the legs and arms for a light glow to light up directly around the player, if too much then at least consider the headlight thanks. -

Zigglezugzu MergedT1 Old school mining helmet light, could be fueled by sap+sulfur. Each tier gets a better craftable helmet light, makes more sense than a flashlight or lantern

Paul Eldridge MergedThe Naneo armor really should feel even more rewarding, and one huge piece of utility would be a helmet-mounted LED light (default keybind to "T") that is only rechargeable on the space station. Meaning it only lasts one prospect session, and is another precious resource that must be managed. Give it focused light throw like the lantern, maybe a slightly less amount of light. Bonus points if toggled between wide/diffuse, far/spotlight, and off. That's a lot more like a real headlamp.
Then it feels rewarding, but isn't a default "I win" button. Time the battery power to be ~about as long as it takes to get to a biofuel lantern (with the upcoming belt clip). Allows skipping the torch and mining without holding the clip on lantern! -

Mavor MergedPossibly an unlock after the flashlight. A simple light that is helmet mounted - or emits light from the light nodes (if that is what they are) on the helmet. Not quiet as bright and flooding as the biofuel lantern - just a decent amount of light that is head mounted and not obscured or moved by lower torso activity like the biofuel lantern is.

Rha0 MergedProvide some sort of option for tier 3 and 4 light sources to point where you are looking, be that a headlight or whatever other option that you might choose. Due to the fact that they do not look up/down with you, and that the flashlight doesn't even appear to look straight on in the first place, even though I've gotten these items multiple times, I always wind up going back to the torch. This shouldn't work this way - higher tier items should be more useful/desirable, not less.

Pestevil MergedIt would be nice to ad a Lighting Slot to Helmets so you have light where you look, because on the normal lightingslot you don`t see where you are shooting.
A Lightsolot for the saddle of the mount would be nice too -

J PYes, yes, yes - T1 torch has been the only viable light source for too long!
T4 helmet light alteration, EVEN if it has to replace the one I currently have in my composite headgear, EVEN if I have to carry a biofuel can in my inventory (another slot?) to power it, it needs to be a 'thing'
Lanterns, flashlight both have nothing like the performance of the basic or wood/sulphur torches and this needs to change -
