[Suggestion] Alternative to Pneumonia
The Pneumonia addition was to restrict living in caves. The irony is it is so long and happens so often that it does the exact opposite making mining tedious and less fun. So much so that half my group(8) who mined all decided they want to be hunters now….
Instead of Pneumonia, a better solution would be to have cave living be more expensive. This way it’s doable and not less fun but has a cost..
By more expensive, it should increase your oxygen breathing and perhaps food and water. The dehumidifier could then remove this penalty.
Being stuck in a cold cave with Pneumonia and zero stamina is simply no fun and a sure way to ruin a profession….

RickThis idea simply makes a ton more sense in terms of immersion over "you're able to get pneumonia due to dampness yet can stay underwater all day long"

RobottoI almost quit after putting lightning rods on and around my houses more than once and losing it while mining in a cave because there was no way I could get back to my house due to pneumonia.
Funny thing is you need iron to make stone structures.
Also, it should be called something else.
Like "Cave Rot" or "Underground disease" or really anything other than pneumonia. -

SkyWillI’d just make cave worms respawn and aggro on player structures. I wouldn’t leave my smelter in the cave if it was going to get eaten by cave worms.

Rat152Many of us have been calling the pneumonia, caveid all one word a play on cave and covid. I do like the idea of requiring more stamina in a cave but not stick with you a few seconds to recover ect.
