[Suggestion] Add the ability to turn off knife throwing independently from aiming
The only way to stop knife throwing action is to change alernate fire from the right mouse button to an alternate key binding but this also turns off the ability to aim. If we had the ability to turn off throwing a knife then this would fix any issues with people who accidentally throw knives. If you dont want to change or remove the option of throwing knives then allow people to turn it off. It is seriously a deal breaker for me. It really really really really really really irritates me and makes it not fun. THIS HAS TO BE FIXED. Please find a way for this to be resolved.

TagomA toggle to disable knife throwing would be greatly appreciated. Or having a second keybind specifically for throw knife separate from the secondary action which is used to aim the bow would perhaps be even better, feel free to have the default for both be right-click but separating them gives options on how people want things to work.
During unexpected attacks, it's too easy to think you have a bow selected and end up accidentally throwing a knife instead of aiming a bow, which you then don't have a few seconds later to melee the approaching predator. I've almost never found a thrown knife again (suspect they disappear underground), the one time I did find it clear that the decay rate for thrown knives is WAY too short to handle late discovery of the knife missing or prolonged searching due to bushes obscuring the ground, that decay rate is many factors shorter than the decay of a corpse or tree. -

LythixI have died so many times due to discovering I have no knife and wondering where and when I threw it. I have only ever found a thrown knife once due to being in a cave with no undergrowth. I have the talent that highlights the knife and when I found it there was only 2% left before it decayed.
Alternate keybind for knife throw would be best option. Please fix! -

CalallPlease reject this post - prefer to use a gaming name not my real name. I agree I have lost countless knives. It disappears into the ground or who knows where. I need to be able to disable the throw feature.

MikeJust lost my first ever iron knife to an accidental throw. Until this is fixed, I will be using bone only. Sucks because the iron knife looked awesome and I had unlocked the steal knife. Don't want to lose the resources though.
Unrelated note: higher teired arrows are too expensive (e.g. 4 carbon fiber, copper, aluminum for only 1 arrow. Why?!)
