[Observation] Station Workshop - forced spending my rewards on items I don't want
Station workshop items behind two gates is to controlling.
Being forced to spend rewards on items I don't want is not a lot of fun.
I want to spend mission rewards on what I want, not be forced to waste points on items I will never ever use.
ie. I spent cash to support the game and got a bonus envirosuit, but now I have to spend rewards on a suit I will never ever use...
or I want to save up my rewards to get a cool bow but have to spend rewards on 4 other envirosuit's. Why??
I have supporters addition and I agree on this about having to buy suits for access to bows. not personally too worried about having to spend on suit to unlock betters suit than supporters suit. I think each item type should maybe have their own tree rather than have to unlock something unrelated to get to a weapon item.
You only need about 200 currency to start unlocking and buying things and that aren't suits...
Just play more!
Although having different trees, like one for suit and modules, then another one for tools/weapons and finally, another one for consumables/medicine would be great!
Cannot agree with this more. It's ridiculous to gate rewards all grouped into one tree in the station. It effectively makes the cost of the item you actually want include the cost all those items you don't want.
The tree needs to be reworked and should take reputations with factions into consideration vs arbitrary requirements.
