[Suggestion] Modding support and/or user made content

Add the tool for users to directly mod the game with a Devkit, or at least add systems for users to add weapons, armors even new maps for the game. The setting of the game is perfect for adding user created maps and with a simple tool or devkit, you would be adding an insane amount of replayablility and longevity to an already amazing game.

Do you (can you?) have planned to add the support of mod for the game ?
Since it's at least partially multiplayer I can understand if no, but... For what I've seen, even if some perf tweaks and debugs is needed, the game itself has a promising future.

If we are going to be able to add some mods, even if it's only small Lua scripts or JSON data to alter game (items/creatures/gameobjects), it give to the game a real +++ value.

And if we have a full devkit... We can be close to infinite.

Since you dont have talk about this possibility I think your game is not able to handle it, but hey, if we dont ask...

Dont feel like this should be added straight away but i believe this is a must. This would allow this game to go in so many different directions with proper mod support and dedicated servers.

I think that modding support for the game would be very good.
with modding support you can add additional functions that were created by the community.

If this isn't being discussed it should be discussed. I am loving the "game as intended" mode but opening up Icarus on a parallel lane as more of a sandbox would be great. Having the ability to mod in features in a custom mode could add to the player base and provide a stronger funding stream for live service development in the coming years.

Day Z was made for the studio chief modding "Arma 2". Lets us to modd this game too. Learn from "Ark" and other games and let people created mods for this game.Modding expands a lot any game and even allow creators to find ideas for fix and/or optimizate the game.

Icarus is primarily a PVE game and although I really enjoy the base game, there is alot of hostility in the community over little stuff. If you gave them a way to mod the game this hostility would decrease significantly. Take another game I love for instance Ark. Terrible base game settings but with mods the game has thrived. This game has a great base game and adding modding support has the potential to significantly increase player base. This is a great Idea I feel.

I make a lot off mod for games who share a devkit on UE4 like conan exile and ark (a big mod like "ARK add" on ark and "WTF" on conan) and i think it is a real +++ for game cause :
1 - it can give idea to dev
2 - it can make players differents gamplays

i know its something the devs have mentioned a few times as something they are going to implement, but i wanted to add this suggestion to feature upvote because the devs regularly mention they look at what is being requested and hopefully people will upvote this to show how much we really wants mods to be added.
icarus is a great game with so much potential to be a sort of "platform" where it can be modded and totally changed. i think ARK is a great example of that where if you look at where the game started and how many great mods expand and change the game to be something totally different. which is great, that way everyone can play the game they want and it doesnt have to be a full change in the game itself from the devs.

Mod support for this game is a fantastic idea. I've found that my favourite part about these survival sandbox games is building. Icarus is already an amazing game with beautiful graphics. Devkits and mod support would open it up to a whole new world of possibilities. It's one of the things I love about Valheim and continue to go back to it. The builder community there is huge. Many of us see Icarus's potential as a builder's paradise. It would be nice if there were changes to the current build mechanics, like being able to rotate pieces and make something other than square/rectangular buildings, but there could also be mods for all that.

Just look at ARK Survival, thanks to MODs and the community, the game has become so popular that people are buying the same remastered game again. For me, MODs and the ability to host a server are the basis for game development
