  Drinking from a lake will automatically fill your containers. Why not have this feature from the rain catcher?

  I did this to get a big amout of water on my travels from time to time.
  But a full resorvair (100l) might wanna way more then a empty one (20kg) but it does not, a full still weights 20kg

  You can fill a rain reservoir from a water source, but when you try to place it down it will simply be empty as is i believe the intended behavior. However if you first take it to a herbalism bench and use it to make bread and then place it down it will be full minus whatever was used to make the bread.

  Seems a bit of an oversight. We should be able to fill containers at the rain reservoir, otherwise one loses the benefits of hauling around water containers it they rely on the reservoir as a primary water source (which I am guessing might be the case in the drier biomes).

  You can fill containers if you have them in your hand but a feature like to hold 'f' to fill containers in inventory would be great.

  Please let us fill water containers ( water skin, canteen, etc) from a rain catcher.
  If it has some connection/output for my mouth, I should be able to fill a container.

  A filled rain reservoir with 100L of water can be picked up and carried in inventory and it only weighs 2kg, making it a too-perfect mobile water source. Also, you can put the reservoir in the herbalism bench for a long-lasting water supply to make bread. This item should be modified to prevent this.

  I noticed that the rain reservoir only weighs 2kg and can hold 100L of water. It's easy enough to always carry a full tank on your hikes and refuel when you get home.

  Noticed in the bw3 that the rain reservoir can be placed and filled with rain water and be picked up and still contain the water. Used it to go out in to the snow and every time I got thirsty just placed it down took a sip and picked it up kinda made water containers useless

  As is, you have to manually take the waterskin in-hand and access the rain reservoir to top it up. Feels a bit of an unnecessary step

  you can also place canteens and other water containers in the rain reservoir directly to fill them. I like to keep several on hand for quick swaps same as the large oxite dissolver w/ extra air bladders

  To add to this, I'll make a suggestion with it, when engaging with the oxidizer or water reservoir, there should be an option to extract all containers of that type to input in the machine automatically. Having to navigate through the menus to refill everything every time feels needlessly convoluted.

  For some reason, the rain reservoir also does not fill up the 3d printed canteen at all when placed inside it, along with this.
