[Bug] Kill List: extermination

i really need to be doing something wrong here. this mission is available as a 3rd mission, from the very first moment someone starts playing the game. i'm only around lvl 20, so i have no firearms yet, and the best i can use is bows. pack wolves swarmed me, so i had to run to a rock. alfa wolf comes and just beats its way THROUGH A HUGE ROCK, while i'm shooting it repeatedly in the back/head. after about 50 arrows, i've only done about 1/3 of its health as damage, and he just runs away and regenerates its health. when i try to find it, i instead get a DIFFERENT alpha wolf, and have to start all over again wether or not the first regenerated. the second one also proceeds to eat about 30 arrows before retreating, at which point i just gave up

how on earth is this supposed to be doable without making a stone bunker with guns?

this is just arbitrary difficulty at best

Agreed, it's a steep increase in difficulty compared to the other prospects. The only way we were able to complete it is because the alpha wolf glitched into the den in the morning and I was able to snipe it from a distance without it attacking me or spawning wolves.

My wife and I just tried to complete this together, I had full fur armor and a rifle. She had full Fur armor and a platinum spear. We were overwhelmed with the sheer number of wolf pack (10+ wolves) and the boss. We successfully killed everything and forced him to retreat, where the boss regained his entire health pool, and then resummoned 10+ wolves again. I FAR outgear the level of the mission, and was dropping 1300 damage on the headshots with the rifle, but couldn't take him down in time to stop him from regenerating back to full, and then resummoning wolves from literally the nether. First encounter, sure he has a pack, they should not respawn.

It's only gotten worse. Now, there's a bear spawn point within/near the wolf lair, and so not only do you have to contend with a seemingly immortal wolf, if you're not careful, while you're in the middle of battling wolves, a bear will come up behind you and end your misery.

As soon as the alpha wolf takes more than 20% damage, he runs back to his lair, summons more pack wolves, and waits until his health has regenerated before re-entering the fight.

Without using known glitches, it is impossible for a solo player to complete this mission.

Either the difficulty of the mission needs to be adjusted (how many hit points does the Alpha Wolf have?!), or the mission needs to be moved towards a later part of the game.

Further, the stupid bear spawn point needs to be moved. This mission is hard enough, without having to contend with a bear in the middle of it.
