[Bug] Mammoth Archytus disappeared when killed
My friend and I tried to finish the mission "Clean Up: Hardcore Elimination" (Hunt an artic Titan)
When we finished to hunt the mammoth Archytus, he just disapeared in front of us.
We tried to restart de server but no issue, still no corpse to skin ...

Felix MergedYou can't kill the mammoth. Tried a shotgun, rifle, and arrows. The Hp bar just doesn't decrease in either case.

Asbjørn Markovic MergedOn the mission CLEANUP: HARDCORE EXTERMINATION, where you are supposed to locate and kill a mammoth, and then skin it to retrieve a tusk, it bugged and we could not complete mission.
Within 3 seconds after we shot it dead, it just fell down through the snow and disappeared. Nowhere to be found or targeted. We tried to stand where it should have been, look around to see if it could be targeted, look down into the ground, but it was gone.
We just spent close to 3.5 hours playing a mission, then it bugs and we don't get it finished.
That's a bug that really is a gamebreaker for us. I'm not sure if you are able to like "go in" to our accounts and mark that specific mission as complete in our accounts and give us the cash reward for that mission. But if you can't, then I got to be honest with you, you just lost two of your most active players.
We are not going to risk hours of intensive playing again to get a bug and no rewards and not complete missions. The joy and trust is -

Pelaaja MergedWe encountered same issue that when mammoth was killed it disappeared instantly and we couldn't retrieve tusk.

Wape MergedAfter running this on hardcore and slaying the mammoth after skinning the beast i did not get a tusk spawn in the inventory screen (required to complete the mission), seems like 2 much meat etc spawned and booted it out of the inventory? please look into this, its not fun running this solo to have to abandon the mission because of it.

Smurph5015We also had this exact issue killed the boss and he instantaneously disappeared. We tried everything from resetting the server to sweeping the ground looking to see if he became invisible, but no luck we were forced to abandon the mission to not lose our characters :( real bummer for us 8 people playing.

WarmenHello, I just had the same thing happen yesterday while. Total of 3 of us killed the mammoth only for mammoth to disappear 3 seconds later before we could skin it. Folks at Discord stated that there is no way to respawn and it is a bug. Sorry to say ,but bugs as such such be ironed out pre-launch. To help devs with this issue, I noticed the same thing happening when killing polar bears in the arctic on another mission, my friend was using bolt act ion rifle and I was using a shot gun, I have a reason to believe this only happens when an animal is hot at with a shotgun, anytime my buddy took down the polar bear with bolt action rifle only even both of us using bolt action rifle, killed animal did not disappear therefore I have a reason to believe same thing is happening with a mammoth, my buddies both had bolt action rifles and I have ripped away with a shotgun. Please fix this annoying bug that is destroying game experience.

StriN MergedMe too, after kill a mammoth, the mammoth carcass just disappeared under the know and nowhere can be seen. This is consider a serious bug!!!

StriNHi, same goes with mine, after kill a mammoth and the body just disappeared before could able to skin it. My friend has Shotgun and I'm using Bolt Action Rifle and I think the bug is similar that Warmen mentioned. Not only that, the snow surface I think has a lot of glitches where object dropped under the snow will likely nowhere to be found. This issus is quite annoying and for those player facing these issues will be much disappointed. Please fix these issues ASAP.

Roy Ivanried to work a smooth as possible.
Loaded up and rushed to kill and finish the prospect, but after we killed the mammoth, it lauched into the sky. Never to be seen again.
These kind of bugs will make players leave the game.
Even having to make the looong ass run to get the gear back with you into orbit after "finishing" to have the quest fail cause of a bug doesnt make a cheerful conversation on discord.
Not a fun prospect to begin with, and having to do it over again will make us start to rethink the whole thing. Not good. Not good. -

KeirSame issue for us unfortunately. We killed the mammoth but before it stopped jerking (to where it can be skinned) it just vanished. We tried reloading the server but no luck so we’ll just end the prospect and try again sometime in the future.
