[Suggestion] Make Outposts More Iconic
Postcards tend to take an iconic scene from a location to make receivers envious of your adventurous spirit and travel destinations. Outposts have the ability to be the same, as each of them are handcrafted instead of sliced out of the original map of Icarus, I see no reason the locations crafted for Outposts can't be unique in their location and scenery. Ski-lodge resorts on arctic mountain slopes, Tropical beaches with sandy shores and a large oasis surrounded by a dreadful mouth drying desert, just to name a few. Beyond just a simple place to build a permanent base, Outposts could be vacations from the sweat inducing labor of prospect missions, a home away from home with unique activities such as skiing, snowman building, volleyball, sandcastles and more! Give us a reason to invite our friends, top up our oxygen tanks, take off our company policy sandals and have a good time.

FuturelordThis may be outside of the scope of the dev team but if the Outposts could have a special soundtracks (not played on the main maps) that more or less matches the theme of said outpost (think whimsical for winter wonderland or cold and depressing for blizzard hellscape) even unique music for combat encounters that gives Outposts a completely different vibe, keeping in theme with the idea of making them Iconic/more scenic. Additionally, using the arctic outpost as an example again, if the snow animation was different than the main maps as well, like exaggerated snowflakes falling slowly vs the current white particles falling at normal speed, again changing the vibe and making the outpost distinct from the main open world maps.
Also would be really missing out on an opportunity to make a tropical island with sandy beaches, palm trees and a beautiful unobstructed view of a sunset over the ocean. :)
