[Suggestion] A simple change to make the game feel like you're accomplishing things
Offer rewards, money, equipment and/or experience for the things you accomplish / build / hunt while out on your prospect, in addition to the main end reward. Did you build 3 bases before you left? Killed 10 bears? Mined 100 ores? Progressed into the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th tiers? Hey, that's worth x amount of currency or maybe experience towards a talent!
As it stands you'll spend anywhere from 3-6 hours to accomplish 1 mission with a reward of 100ish? And all your work progressing, getting better items is wiped out. I just don't feel accomplished at all or even motivated to farm up to higher tiers as you lose it all anyways. I love the concept and your idea, but if I'm really an astronaut prospector risking my life, wouldn't the reward or accomplishments be a lot greater?
I see you're already tracking the progress for those ribbons now just add incentives that come along with them and have them reset with each new prospect.
All the best,

ForgeTecI've argued that on long missions over a day we should instead of getting killed and perma dead (cause you only fail if real life attacks) we should get secondary objectives with count downs
This would expand mission time and make the game feel more in depth and expand play options.
Example - build medical camp
Objective 1 - normal mission
Objective 2 - 7 days timer - craft X number of medical supplies +200 cash
Objective 3 - 15 days - Have a generator and 2 fridges +200 cash
would expand the mission to actually need 2 weeks and reward playing hard instead of punishing needing to go back to the real world
