[Suggestion] Way to wall in bases

It would be great if there was some kind of wooden spiked wall to build around your base from the carpentry fence to protect your buildings/bases from spawning in with a bear destroying your base. this would give people more building options than the current build everything you want to last in the air.
Also it would be nice if gather rates were scaled up a bit on solo servers to try take some of the grind out and allow more adventuring and exploring.

great game keep up the great work and development.

Noone special
any sort of traps, reinforcements, barricades etc would be amazing. As of now, AFAIK the game only allows you to build more random shit that "obstructs" wildlife, but they just bash it a couple times and its gone.
