[Suggestion] Big Mission but...
I was thinking about a big 90 days mission with a ton of tasks to do like hunting, stockpile, build, scan ecc. Mission should be so big even if we play 2h a day it would take 40 days in real life to complete it all. BUT if you want you can leave without completing the mission BUT in order to leave early you have to complete an challenging evacuation mission. If you fail u can try again BUT the evacuation mission restarts and this time u have to do something different.

But in seriousness: I think missions should be exciting. Survival should feel exciting, scary and wonder.
Longer missions should not feel like a grind.
It should have a mixture of collecting, mining, building and then facing off with bosses. Missions within the main mission. But it should feel good to grind because its rewarding at the end.
Example: land on Icarus, collect valuables, mine and build a special weapon to defeat a monster gaurding a special item needed to find a resource. Defeat the monster grab the item and craft your detection device to locate the resource. After locating resources you are faced with a ton of wolves guarding the entry way, but be careful as the alpha male is nearby and if alerted your mission could be in jeopardy. Figure out your best means of retrieving the resource to repair your ship for return. The extra resource will be worth 1000. Good luck!

EmpathiseI like it, I really enjoy the longer stockpile missions and have done Payday Extraction several times solo. The grind for me at least is fun. I would really like to see complex missions with multiple objectives.
I feel that there is much more to the game and it is coming.
I would also like to see ore veins like Payday Extraction where you can put an extractor on a Iron or Copper vein and let it crunch away for larger amounts of ore -

What we also need is a way to generate larger amounts of ore for T4, right now it is fine if you just focus on the mission, but if you want to build more it is not possible sometimes. Maybe a Iron or Copper vein that you could put an extractor on..

W2D2How about a quest with multiple parts, each with a set duration.
What would set this apart from different sessions is that your stuff persists during the quest parts. -

StruggleThis could be applied to every mission: when you finish a mission you get a set timer to go to the dropship and escape. Like a 10 minutes timet and then mad enemies start to spawn or a really bad storm begins
