[Suggestion] Upgrading bench/tecnology should keep previous recipes
Using the cooking station should have also the campfire recipes, then the netx bench should have all the 2 last benches recipes and so.. I know that each cooking device have specifics foods but you should grill a steak or a vegetable on any device.
Same for the Furnaces, if u have a more advance one you can make more advance metals...but also the older ones.
Craftingbench should have the same recipes the the player have on his inventory

Reece Bledsoe MergedI think it would be better and more efficient if each higher tier cooking deployable could make the previous tiers products also. Having to make multiple cooking deployables and then run around to figure out which makes what ingredient is a pain. I mean in real life kitchen a stove and oven can make practically everything from one place. Same with the workstations they could make the previous tiers also. And the rate at which food and vegetables spoil seems really quick.

Alan MergedI strongly agree that the cooking deployables should include lower tier cooking recipes. It makes no sense that I need to keep a rustic "cooking station" around to create animal fat that I then use to cook on the "kitchen bench". It's not about new specialized tools, like with the machining bench or fabricator, it's just a nicer bench/stove.
I'm not sure I agree with the same logic for the workstations though, as they not only contain specialized tools but they have tons of recipes already. Combine every cooking deployable into one and there would still be fewer recipes available at that station than at the crafting bench.
Spoiling could probably use to be tweaked (it's either really fast, or completely paused in the fridge), but I'd consider that a separate issue. -
