{ Bug } Animal spawn rates

My group has witnessed recently that in several prospects we have a severely decreased animal spawn rate after we have more than three people in prospect. Spent several hours in hardcore Bigshot stockpile before we figured this out. After three people are in wildlife gets extremely rare.

As a solo I experienced quite the opposite, especially with bears.

I based next to the cargo pod and I must have killed 12 bears within a half grid of the pod (within ~20 minutes). After each kill I could hear another bear nearby.

So, like you say, your issue may be due to the player count.

It doesn't just happen with bears, and it doesn't necessarily depend on the number of players. It has happened to me in many surveys with my brother, that the animals reappear (the same animal) and you can kill up to 20 wolves (which I find cruel and illogical for being an "alien" world), it is surprising to see the number of corpses , it is horrible to look at. It can happen in the desert, the arctic, anywhere and it's terrible when you lose the prospector.
The game seems to try to kill you to frustrate all your efforts, not even the barricades work ;/
