reinforcements for wood buildings
I like wood for the looks of it...
How about (iron or steele?) reinforcements for wood buildings in tier 2 or 3 - making wood more resistant to heavy wind (aka immune like stone).
How about a better lightning rod in a higher tier ?
It should be possible to build a permanent base ... Sure some balancing is required but if I spend almost the ressources needed for stone or concrete - why could it not be as immune to lightning and storm ?

ZourinThe closest to permanent construction is stone. Wood is a tier 1 material that is NOT saved by a WHOPPING 7 points of perks trying to reinforce it, although it's tolerable as a stopgap with the 25% damage reduction perk and improved lightning rods that can take more than one hit (which gives an opportunity to repair). Concrete should be the end-all material for sturdy construction, but that's a whole different issue.
The point of Tier 1 is to not be tier 1. Do not love tier 1. Do not invest in tier 1. Do not spend any more points than ABSOLUTELY NECCESSARY in tier 1. Your points in Construction are best spent on improved lightning rods if you want to add durability to wood structures.
