Deep Mining Drills

I believe the mining drills are not beneficial for the cost and the speed of the resource gathering.
For example it would take 30+ min for 30 copper to gather or 5 seconds for me to mine 30 copper from a node.

The Deep Core Mining is fundamentally useless as it is now you get about 1 ore a minute where it takes you seconds to gather a full stack from mining. Make them consume fuel faster and gather quicker. It should only take a few minutes to completely fill the drill.

There is no reason to use this feature unless you have emptied out every cave on the map. It is way faster to travel across the map, mine out a cave and travel back than to wait for ore from the miner. It doesn't make any sense that you can mine faster with a pickaxe. My missions are generally over before I can get any value out of a deep mine.
