Expanding the range and quality of items at the station
I propose to expand the range and quality of items available for research and creation at the station. Now the situation looks frankly delusional: interstellar expeditions, terraforming, laser guns to break through avalanches, and the maximum that we can get at the station of a developed civilization is bows and spears. Smells like bullshit. I also understand that the prospector is a genius, but it turns out that with his own hands he can create objects on the planet that are an order of magnitude superior to those that they can create at the station, for example, composite armor made by himself is much better than carbon fiber, which you can buy on stations. Where is the power armor? Where are weapon? Let it be VERY expensive to keep the balance, but it just MUST BE available for production at the station, otherwise, I repeat, the situation looks crazy, and throwing good weapons, armor and tools on the planet to start the next mission with a toothpick is very sadly.

Toxic amount of saltTo make a "power armor" or "laser gun" balanced, it will not be enough to made these items expansiv!
Where are the opponents that would require such armaments?
Atm this two suggestions sounds like "immortality buff".
Why i need to shoot with laser guns against wolfs and rabits?!
Icarus should be a CHALLENGING survival game and "immortality buff" in this genre sounds like a joke.
If you need lore to giving the currently more primitiv selection of tools a sense, i have a possible one for you:
Due to the political situation and the fact that the Icarus expeditions are very controversial in the media, there are only a few who are willing to risk their lives on these missions. This situation also results in inferior equipment due to a lack of financial support from government or private sponsors.
But just by the way: Games and the Universes in this follows his own logic.

ДмитрийEnemies can be added over time, for example in the form of DLC. This would give the game the potential for further development and make it more interesting overall. In addition, expanding the range and power of weapons / armor would make the game more attractive not only for hardcore fans, but also, on the contrary, for fans of "driving a tank through an anthill". Nobody forces hardcore fans to use high technologies. Do you want complexity? - You can not research technologies at all, not only at the station, but also on the planet, run the whole game with a wooden toothpick spear and a stone knife. Your right.
