Please Make Squash Plants More Visible

I love using the wild vegetables from the Pot Belly Stove but for some reason I am struggling to find squash on any mission as of late. I often run for hours looking solely for squash. I used to have no issue a few months ago because I would find 2 or 3 luckily and would grow more in the crop plots. Perhaps they have changed grow regions or are just less and less common?

I feel they are too low to the ground and sometimes hard to distinguish between the ferns in different light shadings. I have tried reducing graphics to the point where the grass disappears but still no luck. Is there a way that you can make the leaves of the plant stand further above the ferns, or perhaps even make the squash itself more visible on the plant?
