Don't seal up caves spontaneously?

I made my base in the mouth of a cave. This cave also had a weird flash flood bug going on. You walk halfway into the cave, and then its like you walk through an invisible wall of water. Now this cave is gone, but it has been completely patched up with an un-mineable rock face, leaving more than half of my base including my fabricator filled with mission necessities completely entombed in this rock face. It was fine literally an hour before. I don't know what else to say, other than thanks for wasting my time.

I agree, there is a cave where you get about 3/4 of the way in and then you go through a clipping you cannot see and then you are in water and the cave is totally under water. But when approaching it you cannot see it until you step into it. I just have never reported it because I just deal with it and use the water to swim up and down to get all the minerals without ramps
