unreal engine crashing often
the unreal engine has been crashing more than usual since the last update and this is the error friends and i are getting no matter the host

Sam BrooksI've noticed it crashes more often. I can't seem to be in the game for more than two minutes before it crashes again. Ever since the last update. I've done all the suggested fixes. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Verified files, and even added the -dx11 to the program screen. The game is unplayable. This needs to be fixed.

EricIt's been happening to me ever since the last update. I also encounter burnt trees that I've cleared prior to building my base reappear during storms causing me to either return to character select or my game just crashes and I have to start from scratch since the crashes happen prior to my game saving. Very disappointing. I love the game, but these crashes are getting annoying and starting to distant me from playing the game.

maneatsbearThe frequency of crashes based on *memory management* during the game, normal gameplay, open world, out-of-the-box configuration has been happening to me just insanely often since the last update. I send every report. The crashes are perhaps ten minutes to an hour into a session--not right away. Doing nothing in particular. Walking towards a bench; get some cooked meat out of the fireplace. These frequent crashes did not happen to me prior to the Hypatia update. Why do I keep saying "memory management?" Well, because the error and stack reported in the crash is... about memory management often from your nasty nemesis FMallocBinned2. Here is an example but you probably, *surely* have seen tons of crash reports. Right?
