predators need improvement
Predators in general are way too aggressive and too common. For someone who has strolled around woods (in which both bears and wolves are known to exist) I have yet to see any in about 30 years time. And on bases, they don't attack any human on sight. Bears mainly if they have cubs, wolves if hungry and rarely even then. And seeing that wolves don't hunt other animals they don't seem to be hungry to me. Pretty sure this goes for predators in the desert as well.
There fights against bears are also in possible to survive unless you can get to high ground where they can't reach you. There is no way to avoid their attacks or outrun them. This is extremely frustrating for solo players, as it most of the times means that if bear decides to attack you, you are dead.. there's no point even trying to struggle against it. All you can do is just wait for it to happen.
They also don't stop agroing you no matter how long you stay out of their reach. I died of thirst as I was waiting for it...

LeonidasYou can dodge the bear attacks by facing it, and just before he hits you you either go on a 90° left or right sprint/jump. Takes some times to master, but it is doable.
I would agree however that I see way too often wolves walking next to a deer, and then attack me. It's not realistic.
And yes that would be great to have diversity in wild animal behavior. So that you don't know at first if the bear you are looking at is hungry, angry, protecting his cubs, or just minding his own business walking around. Behaviors which could dictate how he attacks you. Protecting cubs : He will chase you until you are far enough of his cubs. Minding his own business : He will only make you understand that he doesn't want to be bothered, but if you are not threatening he won't harm you. Hungry/angry : Run for your lives.
