Vital shots for animals
When hunting animals you aim for chest, lungs, heart not the head. Headshots to animals, unless it is a lucky brain hit, will just cause unnecessary pain and damage to animals. Let's not teach the next generation to shoot animals in the head, rather teach them to go for the vitals. Games for education! =)

Realistic killzones targeting vital organs such as heart and lungs, would encourage ethical hunting practices, diversify gameplay, and elevate immersion. Aligning in-game mechanics with real-life kill zones would not only make hunting more challenging but also more rewarding for players who seek authenticity.
By implementing this suggestion, you'll foster a stronger connection between players and the game's environment, instilling the importance of respecting nature. It's not just a gameplay improvement but also an educational opportunity.
I understand that balancing realism with gameplay mechanics is crucial. I trust your expertise in finding the right balance. Your commitment to community feedback is highly regarded, and I believe this addition would significantly shape Icarus as a game that counteracts negative stereotypes of the hunting community.
