my loadout is completely different from what I selected when I land on the surface

I had selected a bow, arrows, campfire, furnace, knife (and other things) on the loadout before I joined another mission. When I land? I get items that are completly different and stuff I never researched nor crafted. Tried 3 different times all with the same result. Finally just got out of the game.
