met your scorpions although they are nice it's weird that I can kill a wolf or some of the other predators with one shot to the head but a little scorpion takes 3 plus shots to kill. makes no sense.

There not exactly little. One shot with a rifle works just fine

It's also possible to kill it with one shot via a Sneak + Head shot critical with Long Bow and bone arrows, so long as Kill Cam is turned on.
