Preservation Stockpile - no animal glitch

For the love of god... what is causing the "no animals" bug? We have swapped hosts, complete Steam restart on both PC's... Every time we log back in ... no animals... Tough to complete a Preservation Stockpile if there are no animals to kill...

We are down to just the bears... but we have done 4 restarts and host swaps now and havent seen anything in the forest for going on 20 min...

I am having the same issue. I've taken some time to explore as, well...at least it's safer and the sites are amazing but i would really like to kill a bear to get my T-bone on.....
