No Much missions with exotics reward

Why we have only 3 missions with exotics reward? Is that a bug or?

Most (all?) missions have mineable exotics.

Is this a reason to remove almost all exotic rewards?

For me it makes sense. You need to work for your exotics, but you can pick almost any mission to get them.
