Stationeers style Plumbing and Wiring

With the current implementation of wiring and plumbing, it is extremely challenging to lines things up and also be aesthetically pleasing. It would be much more preferred if something like the Stationeers wiring and plumbing could be implemented both in appearance and placement. It would also be nice to implement some kind of amtospherics for bases, but I understand that might be outside of the scope of your design.
