Can't you (and that would be easy) mark the landing zones of the ships in the game and on the outposts as not buildable. I've demolished my house on the outpost 10 times now. It's really no fun (and that's what it's supposed to be) to collect everything anew every time. I don't feel like it anymore. Please at least try the outpost.
