Forsaken: recovery Game breaking glitch

Dont know what caused it, tried googling and watched a few videos to see if maybe I did something wrong but i repaired the ship parts/refueled/ and killed the boss/retrieved that part, but when i clicked reboot instead of downloading and having to defend the ship it just instantly blew up lol 3 1/2 hours wasted :(

i repaired gyroscope, put fuel in the bucket and salvaged replacement trusters. I click the Reboot at the buttom, and the pod explodes. happened 2 times now, and i've tried different order of completing check marks each time. 8 hours down the drain with 500 credit. once on hard and then on normal to make sure mission was broken or not.

Also, inadvertently LCTRL on damaged gyroscope (before I repaired it) when transferring the new thruster into the dropship - now the damaged gyroscope is missing entirely.

Will now have to abort (fail) the mission because I cannot progress.

Same issue, three times in a row completed all steps in the mission and waited for the quest tracker thing to update and say to reboot the ship, hit the reboot button and instant explosion and mission failure. Mission is completely broken and unwinnable because of this bug.
