Throwing blades with sense animals (Blades + Hunting)

The talents 'Sense Small Animals', 'Sense Medium Animals' and 'Sense megafauna' appear to only outline animals when the player is using a bow. If these are bow specific, this would be better in the bow talents or at least some explanatory text that these are bow specific. Currently they are non-specific to a weapon type so would expect if I'm going to throw a dagger the prey should outline. I was disappointed as a blade user that these talents were useless to me :(
