Maelstrom: Expedition Complaints
Weather events are far too frequent and severe. They occur seemingly every 10 to 15 minutes and last for 3 to 5 minutes real world time. When I'm at my structure I spend most of the storm time repairing storm damage (On a stone structure). When I'm out of the structure mining or trying to complete one of the objectives, I have to worry about my house being severely damaged and losing all of my work benches, furnaces, and other crafting items. I've lost them all before (in a wood structure). It's very frustrating and a huge waste of real time. I love the game, but there are so many things that are just useless wastes of time. This stupid level weather is just one of them.
Horrible Mission. Through and through. Radar fights are insanely hard even with concrete bunkers and guns; Mission continues to drag on with additional objectives that require WAAAAAAY TOO MUCH RUNNING. As if this wasn't enough the Polar bears chased me outside of the Tundra biome ALL THE WAY TO MY DROP SHIP (5+ tiles). Even when I was out of sight with absolutely no 'sight' marker, they would 'wander' to my exact location and trigger an alert status even though I was stealthed with gear and traits in a structure. Speaking of, it didn't matter that I had a structure because they would teleport through concrete, stone, and wooden walls that were unbroken and maul me while inside. I spent what felt like a majority of the mission in a storm regardless of biome. I've been advocating for your game (which performs worse than many Early Access games) since week 1 and after this ish show... i genuinely cant. This mission is a part of everything wrong with Icarus and proof this game is EA. FIX!
I started a game on easy and I end up with a storm every two minutes which did not correspond to the level of difficulty
