[Suggestion] Free complementary complete talent reset with updates

Heres a gripe and huge pain I have. I preplanned my build and followed it to the letter. Due to the updates and screwing up the knife now 17 talent points are useless.

Thats 2550 Ren. Thats a ton of time. To grind just to possible be screwed with another "fix" again. Ironically isnt the talent for tree chopping wood called "if it aint broke"??? Something like that...

If it aint broke devs... don't "FIX" it.

Now I propose that when they have an update they give a complete talent respect for free to adjust to their "fixes" that continually break our game and waste countless hours of our real life trying to just get back to good.

A free total talent respec is showing the players they matter. Also... why have a talent to chop trees with knives when you no longer have the durability to do so?

let the talents tree resets even if it costs in game after mission credits , it is will make the game has many builds and it will make easier for the beginners

I would bet most people who started the game did not realize that
1) there is a (big) limit to how many talents you can unlock in total since you don't get any more after level 40
2) there is no way to reset it yet

I know that talent reset feauture is planned but from what I gathered it will likely be costly. My suggestion is to at least grant every account 1 free talent reset so they can respec their character, this time with full consideration and care knowing every choice matters.

Me and my friends and other people from what I read on forums wasted plenty talent points not knowing it was scarce and permanent. 1 other chance per account would be reasonable I suggest to counter that new player ignorance.

While I think that is indeed great, how long would it take to make a character level 40, if you really want that reset? 10 hours? Maybe less if you really just focus on exp farming.

it would be greatly beneficial if you could add the ability to reset talents and blueprint points for each character at least once or even to be able to pay using game credits.

This is more a preemptive suggestion. As you're getting into talent changes it would be nice if you reset all the talent points, just an across the board wipe for when the talents change into something you didnt originally pick or they get nerfed.

Wouldnt want to get back into the game and have all my characters have a random assortment of talents, it's as good as a dead character, and deleting and remaking isnt a solution either because more changes will be made.

Essentially it avoids a frustration and tedious time sink out of the players control.

I hope the developers will reset all talent points once they fix the respec bug where you get unlimited talent points. Then they can delete the superfluous talent points that you stole so that the game is fair again because in my eyes the bug completely ruins the game.

Agreed. One full respec per character for free at 40/max level/50/something. Allow for purchases of full respec as well.

I don't want to start over again and grind AGAIN because the game didn't tell me how it worked when I started.

My friends and I are playing on a dedicated server and would all gladly pay $5 to reset our talent points. Please consider this as an option.

just mod and start a new character max your points as desired. or scam in some exotics sell em and repec all your points to where you want em? then delete said mod and char done :)

I feel the same way, every game I have ever played when they make these type of game changers they do full respec. Honestly I have not played much since the knife / tree chopping update. My whole build was around this and for my group I was going through be the lumberjack. Everytime I log in, to think I have to play through a bunch of missions to fix it, makes me sad and I log off. I no longer recommend the game to my friends. We often talk about what MMO we going to play next or see what we can replay, this one gets a hard pass.
Logged in last night to see if there was a reset, nope. Was looking forward to frontier too.
