[Suggestion] Game altering attachments
So I've brought this up in the main Discord lobby recently, but despite the attachment system being fairly new and in it's infancy - I'd like to make a suggestion to it. At present the system doesn't seem to be very useful and especially in solo it feels like too much of a hassle and investment to be worth it. The % buff to yield is just not good enough to consider the system in the first place and especially it doesn't really solve any tangible problems the players face. My suggestion would be to re-vamp the system to instead of providing % yield buffs (Doesn't mean to take them out of the game completely) it would provide talent buffs for example. As in things that the player under normal circumstances cannot get (Say felling damage on knives, or perhaps thrown weapon highlight in the world). Further discussion have provided even further gameplay altering mechanics such as a chain attached to spears to be able to 100% recover it (Further in comments, ran out of space)

GezeFurther to the above - The chain to recover the spear would significantly reduce the item's durability which will still promote trying to pick it up by hand to balance things a little bit.
But you get the idea - Let the attachment bench provide us with actual abilities or talents rather than simply X% bonus -

AngryAttachments need substance to them. Grinding for no real substantial gain is pointless. I like the ability to retract my spear back for another throw

GezeAlso a comment to the mods - This is less of a QOL suggestion and more of a "Please add more things that the attachments can do other than X% buff to yields or damage/attack speed"
At it's current iteration there's no real reason to even bother with crafting the attachment bench unfortunately -
