Better missions briefings.
Mission briefings should be detailed enough that players can make intelligent choices about their loadouts. We bought the stuff... that's the gameplay loop. Being in the dark about when to use it seems out of place. It seems like the devs designed the mission briefings intentionally to troll the players. Like they cackle with glee everytime the "trick" the players. It does not sit well. Example: concealment recovery. You have to travel to the desert and destroy the arachnid containment system. You get no information. It SOUNDS like a short mission. Sounds like you just have to fight. My group went down, grabbed a workbench in the first cave, made bows and flint arrows, filled out canteens and oxygen and headed out to do the mission. Only after trekking all the way out the pod did we learn we need gunpowder, electronics. We didn't start the mission well. We didn't bring the right workshop items for a longer mission.
