Mission campaigns. Limited persistence

Looking at where the game is now in terms of the sessional gameplay with deep construction available there is a widening contrast between the two elements. We can create complex bases but will lose them upon mission completion. At the same time starting from scratch is very fun. I propose a middle ground that is perhaps something that dedicated servers will enable. THE PROPOSAL: Missions are chained together into localised campaigns. Whereby the existing missions which overlap massively can be completed back to back without returning to orbit. Instead the last bed you set as respawn is where you start the next mission. You then have a starting point for the next mission, which will make it easier. So missions will need to progressively require more advanced construction to achieve the goal or as an objective. Finally, between missions you can get an air drop of workshop gear that you can order. Best of both worlds!
