Tamed animal reverts to 'Tamed by nobody"

In Olympus outpost. I tamed a Moa and Bison to maturity. Logged back in after a couple of days and both now show 'Tamed by nobody'. No selection to 'reclaim ownership'. Press 'F' to ride or Hold 'F' to access inventory. In the inventory their are no options to stay, follow, passive or defensive.
