We locked changing graphics settings to the station to prevent some rare crashes we were seeing in the run-up to beta weekend 1. We will revisit after this weekend. In the meantime, you can change your graphics settings by hitting esc, going to character select, change your settings, choose the character and join prospect. Note: if you are the host with other people, returning to character select will knock everyone back to the title screen and the first person returning to the prospect will become the host.

I found running after animals or try to sneak up on them to get leather/bone odd. Fighting wolves with a knife worked better since anything else just runs away.
Options might be to work on stealth mechanic, add more/early random dead animals.
I gather I'm meant to use a bow straight away and not try and stab animals?

Repairing a broken item while it's in the hotbar and selected doesn't let you use it again right away. You need to switch to another item then come back to this one.

I lost connection for a short time to the server, the talent point I allocated while doing so broke that talent. When disconnected and reconnecting to load up the world again some progress was lost. The problem was that talent refused to be allocated ever again (across multiple levels/sessions)

Can't put anything in the campfire to Cook. I have a campfire dropped, it's burning/activated. Meat in my inventory, crafting says I can cook it, no way to actually get meat into fire. Manual placement doesn't work, the cooking craft menu won't activate it, starving on berries.

Had this error twice when launching the game. I have redone my drivers, reinstalled game, tried launching different ways and constantly now stuck on "connecting" . No longer able to play until my account or something is reset on your end. :(

The tool tip that pops up says "Press F to add oxite" both when you look at the bottom wodden structure part where you actually add oxite, or if you look at the balloon where you actually press F to take oxygen from the balloon to fill your oxygen meter.

I first loaded the game up on my ultra-wide 3440 x 1440 monitor and the game worked fine but had fps issues so I thought it was because of it having to upscale the resolution. I decided to try my 1920 x 1080 monitor but when I did so it displayed as 1920 x 1080 but I could only press the buttons as if it was still 3440 x 1440. I tried restarting my pc unplugging my monitor cables and just using the 1920 x 1080 but it still did the same thing. Even tried reinstalling but even that didn't work. In the photo below I my mouse is over the enable V-sync on button but my mouse is over to the side.

I went to extract from the planet because I have to get off. When i extract the game freezes, when it unfreezes it then shows me some random in game screenshot of either the firepit menu or just the game screen but its not from my gameplay. Then the game crashes..

A wolf was attacking me so I ran to my drop pod.
As I was taking off from the planet the screen prompt came up " unconscious".

The screen went to a fault code "Failed to join unreal session 006 "
"Join/resume: Failed to join unreal session when attempting Joinsession"
with a button "return".

Pushed the return and stared a new game.

Game went into "creating session" screen.
It was stuck looking like it should load.

left it to load for 10 mins and nothing.

Cant even leave the game. Complete crash...

Closed game window to shut it down.

Restarted the game load character ect picked a landing spot then game crashed ........

Window popped up "BadError Requested" with a " ok" button.
clicked ok.

Now it is stuck in the "creating session" screen again.

My character is now unplayable.

Can email you screen shots.

Even thought my GPU was bellow the recommended settings, I decided to try out the beta to see if it was somewhat playable. Everything looked like it was made of play doh and the game ran between 12 and 24 fps, any battle was a nightmare, animal were just too fast for me to hit.

Into play for an hour or so, hunting, cooking, resource gathering, etc. Major GPU failure, dual black screens. Audio started buzzing out of speakers. System eventually crashed out and auto restarted.

We had a fairly big group (5 of us) start together. Two members left pretty early on because they got stuck in the dark and killed by wolves multiple times in a row. They quit out of frustration within hours of playing. Night takes a long time to get through, especially early on when you don't have a lot to do. Seems a bit odd that you're literally in a space suit and need to collect wood to make torches too - it makes the game feel a bit like a Valheim or Conan knock-off. Maybe just give people a helmet light? It makes sense to still need wood to make larger structures, but ye old torch is weird in the setting.

Yes, if the host disconnects, other players will be sent to the main menu with an error. We plan to clean up the messaging. I'm not sure if the eventual plan is to send the player to the main menu or to character select. In either case, the messaging will be clearer.

It'd be great if the game auto stacked duplicates or had a button to do so. While I don't mind a bit of inventory management, spending hours moving 3 wood into a pile of 10 wood into a pile of 90 to get 100 is just mind-numbing.

During the game, I found myself struggling with knowing where I was being attacked from or even what was around me that wasn't visibly on the screen. I don't know why I don't have this problem with other, similar games. Maybe it's something to do with the HUD or ambient sounds, etc - but if a fish bites my butt, I should know where the fish is at, so maybe some better peripheral awareness indicators?

I didn't like only becoming aware that I was over-encumbered WHEN I was over-encumbered rather than as I was approaching it. It affects things like when you plan to return to camp, etc.

When trying to build a house, the placement range for pieces is significantly larger than the deconstruction range, making it really hard to fix mistakes. Same range would make it tons easier, especially as my fully enclosed house doesn't count as a shelter with a few walls placed the wrong way.

The main crash is known. But the account lockout is NOT known. It seems that your end still think's I'm currently logged in or something and will not let me connect because of it. I have rolled back the drivers as you stated and that did NOT work. 2 installs, many restarts and multiple other changes. This is a problem at your end not mine.

This happened again. Much quicker this time. I was using the fire pit to cook food when the game froze and then the GPU card crashed. This resulted in the system also crashing and auto rebooting. This is becoming unplayable.

Was placing wall torches on the pillars and they were only lighting the area in front of them. This is weird as there is no cover or anything like that, which would suggest why it wouldn't light up the area behind it. In the screen shot there are 2 wall torches. One facing left, one facing right with no light being shown in the middle part.

When i was doing my house, i put some crates to store in and i put the roof after. When The big rain come, my crates take some life from the rain. When you take it and put back it's done.
That was just because i put the crate before the roof.

So i am running a rtx 2060 6gb with a i5 9600K and 16 gb of ram that is more then enough to run this game. im running it on high and epic without fps drops and runs smoothly. but this graphics is pixalted. i have tried updating my graphics driver. changed the settings in the game. restarted the game etc. But nothings works.

Walls or roof pieces disappear, if hit with a repair hammer they sometimes show up again. Pieces appear flipped in different directions from what was placed. Floors duplicate over other floors already placed.

Playing with 3 players and I am host
One player went to char select at almost level 4, and took an xp hit and was reduced to 3 (he was able to see this on his char select screen) and this persisted on re log
Next, second player attempted this and was at level 5, and was reduced to level 2
I was next, and was reduced to level 3 from 5
We all have beds set as spawn points
This seemed inconsistent due to xp lost so we tested further
Second player and I logged back on and got to lvl 5 respectively again
He logged out and was reduced to lvl 4
I logged out and experienced no change

Was playing with a friend towards the start of the first beta weekend, and when finishing the claim, we left via the drop pods. When attempting to make a new claim with the same character, I'm unable to enter the new claim due to an error, which sends me back to the launch screen. Additionally, the previous claim is still visible, and will not let me leave the claim despite being on the same character.

Der Tech Tree ist eine absolute Katastrophe und eines der schlechtesten Systeme in einem Survival Game. Die Basics sollten grundsätzlich verfügbar sein und nicht erst mühsam durch Sammeln von Rohstoffen geskillt werden. Die verbesserten Teile können dann auch über den Tech Tree laufen, aber nicht die Basics.
Skillt man am Anfang Richtung Haus Bauen um sich zu schützen, kann man keine Verbände herstellen, wenn man blutet, kein Lagerfeuer oder kein Bett machen. Skillt man Richtung Werkzeuge, hat man keine Waffen oder keinen Schutz.
Das System ist pures grinden von EP durch Farming, was überhaupt keinen Sinn ergibt. Wieso sollte man durch abbauen von Rohstoffen Skillpunkte bekommen, mit denen man dann Crafting erlernt.
Ein System durch ausprobieren und kombinieren von Rohstoffen oder durch lernen wenn man die passenden Rohstoffe sammelt wäre deutlich sinnvoller.

Forget exotics, oxygen is by far the most precious resource. We have ended our prospect several times because we ran out of oxygen, and it was just 2 of us playing. Please slow the oxygen use way down.

Having an area outside of the prospects where there isn't a time limit. Perhaps a small "zone" on icarus where terraforming worked. Allowing players to carry resources outside of the prospecting and building there homes/museums of the sorts. This will also allow players to have a much more free build experience that does not wipe. This may also be used to really bring out community and visitation from other members of the community may help inspire future in-prospect builds.

Occasionally, if you hold left click with the bow (drawing) then RMB to zoom it gets stuck in the zoomed mode after you fire the bow. To fix this, I had to hit C twice to change camera view.

While constructing, I ran into an issue where placement of walls were reversed or I had the wrong selection and I didn't notice it before placing. It would be nice to have an option to pick them up for 60 seconds or so to allow for fixing misplaced items, wrong selected version, reversed, etc.

A chest lost all durability and was destroyed as I was moving the repair hammer from the chest to my inventory. This caused my cursor be stuck as the hammer icon and have reduced sensitivity.

Cursor was restored to normal after crafting a new hammer.

I tested leaving a prospect and I was able to rejoin by selecting my character and then using steams join game on friend to come back in. I know this was not intended hence reporting as bug.

NOTE: I do not recommend anyone else try this as it did cause some local side issues. Such as I was able to get in but wasn’t on the surface and after I died due to dehydration/suffocation/starvation i respawned in and now I don’t think there is a drop ship for me to leave :)

I was stealth hunting a buck around a hillside. When we reached the top the buck seemed to have disappeared. I then went on to farm resources in the area and the buck sprinted out from inside the hill. Apparently he hadn’t disappeared he was just hidden in the hillside.

When selecting the Tattoo for the face it makes it a bit difficult when the suit helmet is on, ideally when choosing the Tattoo the graphic would show without the helmet.

I want this game to succeed and I think it has the foundation of a great game. However, the combat feels completely unimpactful or fun. I'm not sure if its the very generic hit sound from games from the 90s or if it's just the wolf specifically doesn't really feel like it's getting hit. Sure it pushes back a bit but the animation doesn't mirror what is happening. The sound really needs to be improved on the wolf specifically. I know this isn't Ark but I just wanted to share Ark's combat feels significantly more impactful and fun. I'm saying this so you can fix it so this game can be more successful - I'm rooting for you.

When clicking on the different categories of recipes at the campfire, Harvest doesn't remove any from the list, Consumables seems to work at first, if you then click Resource the list is blank. If I click Resource first it shows the rotten meat to charcoal but then clicking on Consumables blanks the list again. Either way clicking on All never brings the list back, you have to close and then re-interact with the fire. My guess would be that it generates the all recipe list on the fly and them removes the items from that array/table instead of generating a filter off that array or a new array.

I'm not sure if this is just because it's beta but getting the materials to make thatch walls, floors, etc seem way too easy and I have an over abundance of materials. This sort of makes a house a cheap throw away item that I have little attachment to.

This has happened twice now while playing but about 3 to 4 hours apart 1st time was during a game with friend's and was aiming with a bow when it happened. 2nd time was in a solo prospect and was just mining a stone node when it happened.

Campfire will quickly turn off if activated during a storm, even if a shelter has been built (currently only tested in a wood shelter, everything was sealed).

The current jump animation breaks the sense of immersion for me. The character jumps straight up and down with arms and legs straight. It makes me giggle every time which definitely breaks the immersion. I would expect a more dynamic jump animation.

Bears will run after you to a door get stuck (even on thatch) and you can just punch them in the head afew times and they die... cheap yes but it happened completely by accident and makes the bears seem not threatening if you can just run into a basic structure and kill them.

Issue: Fully enclosed building with chimney (floor as roof over chimney tile) indicates any container adjacent to chimney as not sheltered. Move container one floor tile away and sheltered.

This observation may be a direct result of the restrictions of the Beta to a "newbie" friendly area.

Iron tools are able to kill Bears and Wolves in 2-4 hits reducing their threat to nothing more than amusement and free source of food.

Bears are arguably too easy to kill even with stone tools as a solo player. If the bear is the apex predator of the Coniferous biome they need an adjustment to their armour/hp to make them tankier and pose a greater threat to the player.

While navigating the recipe menu after interacting with the the fire, if you click the "resources" filter on nothing is displayed. Going back to other filters results in nothing displayed. Closing and reopening the fire menu seems to resolve the issue

If you quick slot 100% good meat to a box that has meat starting to rot, it will stack with that rotting stack of meat and immediately take it's health down.

Everytime I sleep, I am stuck on the bed. Unstuck relocates me but still stuck. Bed is on a platform thatch structure place near a wall in a corner. Retarting the session fixes the stuck issue.

Animals get stuck on small tree's or stairs. If you know where they walk and place a wall they will clip into the wall and stand there until you kill them.
