Suggestion Power Cables / water pipes should glow when powered

Basically its a bit hard to figure out if a power line is plugged in sometimes specially when running cables for a distance. Breaks happen other random new content issues. So active powered up cables will have a slight yellow glow over the cable when in cable placement mode and water pipes would have a blue glow when in that. Other options could simply be having a yellow or blue dot over each connection point just a quick display setting so we can tell if and where breaks occur.

I would say that if this is implemented, please have a toggle to turn it off. The last thing I want it a bunch of glowing erratic shapes in a well laid out base.
