Food for tamed animals.

When animals are tamed. Would it be possible to have a key (icon in the animal menu) that would allow the animal to feed on itself in the sector I am in, while I am working on something else. Is it possible that the animals feed on the grass surrounding it. Since the bison is a bovid.

I think it should also include drinking from a water source if it's close enough to where the animal was left, or near the bed during taming. My buffalo was literally standing knee-deep in water and slowly getting thirsty. smh
