Accolades and Side Missions
Credit to Zirkalaritz for this suggestion on 18 DEC 21 (Steam Discussion), more incentive is needed to achieve accolades. Something such as weapon kills leads to weapon proficiency or kms trekked leads to greater carrying capacity, etc. As far as side missions could go (credit to Nyrr0 for this one on 05 DEC 21 [Steam Discussion]), what would be nice is in the mission checklist there could be sub-missions listed as optional for achievements such as Kill 25 wolves, or mine and deliver to the pod 100 titanium ore, etc. Thank you for your time!

CrescentLeafNice to know someone shares my sentiments. I noticed that in the main menu, the person has Accolades on their suit. That gave me the idea that Accolades would work as an additional Loadout option, giving buffs tailored to certain playstyles and to encourage players to chase other gameplay aspects they haven't interacted with as much. I would love a buff because I've punched 500 creatures to death.
Inversely, the player shouldn't HAVE to do things they don't want to. If accolade buffs were implemented, they shouldn't be so OP that players groan at the thought of having to slave away at a boring chore because they need a certain buff.
I suppose the most amicable solution is having accolades tied to character cosmetics and deployable decorations. Something to show off your literal accolades.
