Game crash (open Word)
Hello, I started a game in open Word and when validating the mission the game crashed and since then I can no longer restart this save. When launching the savegame, the game crashes while loading. I don't know the name of the mission, but I know it required 2 pickaxes, 3 axes and 5 taxidermy knives. Koopa MergedI am hosting an open world on the DX 12 client on Styx with a drop in the green middle area on my I9 10850k with 64GB RAM and a 3090 with 2 players joined who have decent PCs and are on fiber. When I complete an open world quest, sometimes I lag for a second or 2 and randomly a joined player's game will crash and they will need to close and rejoin. Their bodied fall on the spot and when they come back in, they have the option to revive themselves which doesn't work. There are probably a couple things going on here.

Alex MergedI get this exception during the loading phase of an open-world base.
I first select that only steam-friends can join, then a loading text appears, then only the spinning tool is visible, then the game crashes.
I have this error since the 25.Nov. Update, 100% bug reproduction success rate :)

Chris MergedA friend and I have been playing open world mode on Olympus, both of us using two characters and switching between occasionally. We've been seeing occasional crashes for the client, not the host, when the mission drop pods launch or a mission completes. The last crash has made the world save completely unusable. The client can't get in on either character and neither can the host. I've submitted several UE crash reports. Will submitting an issue report from in game be useful if I'm not the host and can't load into that save? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Chris MergedUpdate. We were able to get back in by joining other saves on all characters then loading back into the corrupted save. There are still issues with missing terrain, mostly burned trees that don't show to clients, only the host. If a client character runs into an invisible tree, they are stuck "Preparing geometry" until the host chops down the tree.

Ravelt MergedWhen we tried to deliver one of the quests to the pod, it crashed the game as soon as the host delivered the items.

ragnarHello, I created a new backup in open Word and the same problem occurred. I attach a video with the moment when the game crashed by validating the mission and the crash when restarting the backup. I am also attaching a Google drive link where the Crash Context documents are.

Shio MergedExperienced the Bug first time on the 27.11.2022.
Basically Missions work perfectly fine, but as soon as I want to load in one of my existing Open World maps i get an UE4 crash. Any suggestions i Could do? -

Till yesterday all ok, but suddenly in my OW prospect big lags and stutters starting appear.
Exist game, check my PC. All ok.
Check other resources consuming software. All closed.
Restart game on OW and again UE crash. Sent reports for each.
Verified my W10 files, ok
Updated my nVidia driver, ok. Restart PC.
Uninstalled ICARUS, reinstalled ICARUS, verified files integrity, ok
Restart ICARUS on OW prospect. UE crash again.
Start another fresh OW prospect... all ok.
Is not a big deal, even I spend more than 200h there... but I have there valuable workshop items (ST-700 armor and an expensive spear).
What I can do, because I want them back?
